Bathing
A wash and dry, sometimes with a coat-specific or sensitive-skin shampoo.
Brushing and de-matting
Working through knots and tangles. Severe matting may need a different approach, and sometimes clipping is kinder than brushing out.
Clipping or trimming
Full clips, breed trims, or a tidy-up around the face, paws and sanitary areas.
De-shedding
Reducing loose undercoat, which many owners ask about heading into an Athens summer.
Nail care
Trimming, and sometimes filing. Often the part dogs find hardest.
Puppy introductions
A short, gentle first session designed to build a positive association rather than achieve a perfect finish.

Why the detail matters
Grooming is much more dog-specific than most people expect. Coat type changes the technique, matting changes what is realistic, and how a dog handles being touched changes how long a session needs to be.
Being straightforward about a difficult coat or a nervous dog does not reduce your chances of finding help. It usually improves them, because the groomer can plan properly rather than discover the problem mid-session.

What does grooming cost?
Apolo does not publish grooming prices, because Apolo does not provide grooming. Each independent groomer sets and confirms its own pricing, usually after seeing the dog's coat and size.
