Personal pet support, built in Athens
Apolo began as a local dog-walking service with a simple purpose: to give dogs reliable, individual care and give their owners confidence in the person looking after them.
Over time, the idea grew. Pet owners may also need help finding boarding, grooming, transport or a suitable specialist when moving internationally.
Apolo is being developed as one place where owners can explain what they need, receive a personal response and, where possible, be introduced to an appropriate independent provider.
Our story
Dogs have always been at the centre of Apolo.
Working directly with dogs in Athens has reinforced how important consistency, patience and trust are. Those same principles now guide the wider concierge service.
The objective is not to create a directory containing every pet business in Greece. It is to build a smaller, more useful network and describe each provider honestly.
Why dogs
Dogs rely on people to make every important decision for them: who cares for them, where they stay and how they travel.
That responsibility is the reason Apolo takes a careful approach. A convenient option is not always the right option for a particular dog. Size, age, temperament, health, routine and the owner's circumstances all matter.
Why Athens and Greece
Moving with a pet becomes more difficult when the owner does not know the local language, neighbourhoods or service providers.
Apolo aims to bridge that gap by combining local support in Athens with a structured way for international owners to explain their journey and pet-care needs.
Why Apolo exists
Pet owners are often forced to search through multiple websites, repeat the same information and decide between businesses they know very little about.
Apolo exists to make the first step simpler. The customer explains the situation once. Apolo reviews the request, proposes an introduction where possible and asks for permission before sharing personal information.

What Apolo does not do directly
Apolo does not currently operate an international pet-transport service, veterinary practice, grooming salon or boarding kennel. Those services are delivered by independent providers. See our Referral Disclosure.
How providers will be selected
Apolo is currently building its provider network.
Future public profiles may include information about services, routes, languages, meetings, premises visits and documents reviewed. A profile will only be published when there is enough reliable information to make it genuinely useful.
Apolo will not describe a provider as visited, assessed or reviewed unless that work has actually taken place. See how the provider network is developing.
What to expect after you submit an enquiry
- 1. Send the essentials. Tell Apolo the route, approximate timing and basic information about your pet.
- 2. Apolo reviews the request. The enquiry is checked personally so the likely support required can be understood.
- 3. Possible options are researched. Where suitable businesses may be available, Apolo identifies a possible next step.
- 4. You approve any introduction. Your personal information is not shared with a provider without the appropriate permission.
- 5. The provider confirms availability. The independent provider confirms whether it can help, explains its service and provides its own quotation.
- 6. Apolo follows up. Where an introduction is made, Apolo may follow up to help keep communication clear.
Not every enquiry reaches every step above — if no suitable option is currently available, Apolo will tell you clearly.
Our long-term vision
The long-term aim is to make Apolo one of the most useful starting points for pet owners moving to, leaving or living in Greece.
That means building practical guides, developing genuine provider relationships and continuing to offer personal local services such as dog walking.
Growth should come from useful information and good relationships, not from pretending to provide services that belong to independent specialists.
